Breaking Counterpoint is an evening-length, interdisciplinary work that moves from composition to transformation, opening with Michael Laurello’s Tell Hope Everything You Hear and expanding through a live set by producer Wendel Patrick. The program culminates in a reimagining of Steve Reich’s Electric Counterpoint—integrating electric guitar, live processing, movement, and projection into an immersive, ever-changing sonic and visual environment developed with dancers and media artists.
