Japanese pianist Gen Tomuro presents a solo recital that bridges Eastern and Western aesthetics through works by Ravel, Poulenc, Sakamoto, and Mangoré. The program highlights cross-cultural affinities in timbre, form, and poetic expression, reflecting Counterpoint's ongoing cultural exchange between Washington, DC and Tokyo.
